Galway Computer Club was set up in January 07 by Myself, Left and GerryK. We felt there was a serious lack of information available to new users which is being exploited by the likes of Microsoft.

Since then we've added a games section an online chess module, soon to be turned into a league. And a collaborative pool in music, video, graphics, computer programming and whatever else we can think of.

We also provide technical support for any of your computers ills, all the usual stuff virus protection, open source software and hardware upgrades
Most of all we provide community. A place to pop in, have a chat and keep informed. Sometimes even when you want to figure something out yourself , its good to know there are others around- just in case.
Of course you don't have to be from Galway to drop in and say hi.

This is the first of our interactive projects. Still in development stages. But if you like Breakbeat, Prog Rock, Jazz, Soundscapes Ambient or experimental music then you will love EMCradio. You can also here my mixes here :) There is a search and request feature that will accept your requests and play them within the hour.

This is a fully licenced station we pay a blanket fee for royalties. We can only accommodate 20 listeners at any one time but we will increase this as the need arises
